JOCG stay 2026
Place and dates
The JOCG 2025 stay will take place at the Girona Auditorium, from July 21 to 28.
Registration and video submission: from February 2 to March 31, 2026
Notification of results: April 30, 2026
Registration and access test
To participate in the JOCG 2026 you must register and send a video (youtube link) to the email info@jocg.cat with a free choice piece* of approximately one minute in length.
* In the case of percussion, the free choice piece must be for timpani
Aimed at young students with a professional degree or higher in an instrument. The preferred age is 16 to 22 years old.
Stay calendar
- July 21 - First tutti reading and partial rehearsals
- July 22 - Partial rehearsals + talk about the repertoire
- July 23 - Tutti rehearsals + social activity with Astrid-21 + activity at Trueta hospital + talk about health by musician and doctor Joan Valls
- July 24 - Activity with the summer camps of Girona
- July 25 - Tutti rehearsals
- July 26, 7:00 p.m. - Closing concert of the JOCG 2026 at the Girona Auditorium
- July 28 - Concert at the Palau de la Música in Barcelona
Economic conditions
The stay is financed by the Girona City Council, the Girona Auditorium Palau de Congressos Foundation, the Metalquimia Foundation and the Girona Provincial Council.
The registration fee is €100, which will be paid when accepting the place.
The organization provides participants with accommodation and breakfast at the Pare Claret Student Residence and meals (lunch and dinner) at the Dúplex restaurant. The cost of accommodation and board for the entire stay is €250 (payment can be made in up to four installments).
The JOCG has established a scholarship system so that no one is excluded for financial reasons.
