The Simfònica de Cobla i Corda de Catalunya as a platform for professionalization
The Metalquimia Foundation offers the members of the string and percussion sections of the Jove Orquestra de les Comarques Gironines the possibility of becoming permanent members of the Simfònica de Cobla i Corda de Catalunya.
Since 2012, over a hundred young musicians have participated professionally in SCCC projects, both in the six recordings of the albums that have been released since then, and in the concerts at the home of the ensemble, the Girona Auditorium , as well as at other theatres, auditoriums and festivals around Catalonia: the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Palau de la Música Catalana and Born Cultural Centre in Barcelona, the Atrium de Viladecans, Terrassa Cultural Centre, Campllong Festival and Alta Segarra Festival.
